There’s always a friendly welcome at Allendale Co-operative Society.

Permanent Staff

Neville Pringle
General Manager

Neville manages all aspects of the shop and looks after the Co-op’s other properties. Until quite recently he was also a retained Firefighter serving in Allendale.

Sheila Golightly
Assistant Manager

In addition to supporting Neville, Sheila looks after Beer, Wines and Spirits. Sheila can also help you with Glass Hire, and Sale or Return products for larger events.

Kirstin Robinson
Company Secretary

Kirstin manages the Society’s paperwork. She also looks after ordering for Home Hardware and Suma.

Julie Archer
Sales Assistant

Julie will be covering checkouts. In between serving customers she will be supporting across the store.

Jackie Charlton
Sales Assistant

Jackie is our main checkout operator and lottery sales expert. In between serving customers, Jackie does numerous odd jobs around the checkout area.

Shirley Glendinning
Sales Assistant

Shirley looks after chilled and frozen foods. She likes to try new lines and loves a customer suggestion. Shirley is also the Staff representative on the Board of Directors.

Kathleen Murray
Sales Assistant

As well as making up orders for our delivery customers, Kathleen looks after canned and packaged groceries, helps with the instore bakery, and with price ticketing.

David Nattrass
Sales Assistant/Delivery Driver

As well as making deliveries, Dave cuts cheese, helps with the instore bakery, and receives the Co-op deliveries. He also takes most of the pictures you see on Facebook.

Melanie Stoelk
Sales Assistant/Delivery Driver

As well as making deliveries, Melanie looks after produce and floral, home baking, beverages and sweets.

Vivienne Thompson
Sales Assistant

Viv is one of our checkout operators. She also helps look after cereals and household products.

Claire Wood
Sales Assistant

Claire looks after Health & Beauty and Baby. She also covers produce, chilled foods and the bakery.

We also have a great team of casuals who work in the evening, at weekends, and during school holidays.
