Allendale Agricultural Show
At this year's Agricultural show on Saturday 17th August, there will special classes to mark Allendale Co-op's 150th Anniversary.
Classes Open to All
- Bread, any variety to be shaped into the Co-op Wheatsheaf
(Not to be made using a bread maker) - Cake iced and decorated to celebrate the Co-op’s 150th Anniversary
- A 150th Anniversary Card, any material, celebrating the Co-op
- A floral display celebrating the Co-op’s 150th Anniversary
- A sample of handwriting – a copy of the text shown below.

Entry to the Co-op by Saturday 10th August. (Entry to this class is free)
Junior Classes – Age Groups 4 and under, 5-8, 9-12, 13-16
- A paper plate decorated to celebrate the Co-op’s 150th Anniversary
- A model in Lego representing the Co-op
- Junk model of the Co-op’s delivery vehicle of the future
(not larger than a 30cm cube)
Usual entrance fees apply except for the Handwriting Class (which is free to enter)
Prizes for all classes 1st - £4, 2nd - £3, - 3rd - £2
Except Cake/Wheat Sheaf – 1st - £10, 2nd - £7, 3rd - £4
All exhibitors in the Junior Classes will receive a commemorative Co-op Anniversary Medal
