Anniversary Windows
To mark the 150th Anniversary a photographic display has been installed on the windows of Allendale Co-op. The photographs, taken by James Little, depict a year in the Allen Valleys.
Thanks also to Top Signs for creating the window graphics from James’s images.
Below you can see a gallery of the photographs displayed in each of the shop windows. For a carousel view or larger images with explanatory text, click on the photographs.
James Little has lived in Allendale all his life and didn't take up photography until 2016. A former Allendale Co-op employee himself, James enjoys photography as a hobby as he sees it as welcome distraction from work. The beauty of the Allen Valleys, James explains, is that there are so many different genres to photograph, from astrophotography to wildlife, sports to landscapes, there is always something different to capture.
