Allendale Coop 150 years anniversary logoThis year we are celebrating 150 years of trading in the Allen Valleys. The Allendale Co-op is an independent society which has been owned and run by local people since 1874. We will be remembering our history and holding celebratory events throughout this year.

  • Saturday 6th July: Co-op History Timeline from 7pm to 8.30pm in the Village Hall
    Open to all. Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits
    Researched and created by the Allen Valleys Local History Group and children from Allendale Primary School

150th Anniversary Gala Day

Sunday 7th July from 11am into the evening at the Village Hall and Recreation Ground

A day packed full of food and entertainment for all the family, including a historic timeline, film showings, dance, singing, music, anniversary cake, a bar, games and crafts, a scavanger hunt, bowls, family bingo, raffle and hamburgers from Allendale Butchers.  Find out more >>
