Jackie Charlton and Sheila Golighty encouraged ten other staff members and former staff members to join them in taking part in the “Great North Abseil” at Langley Castle.
They are raising funds for Chrohn’s & Colitis UK. The charity is close to them, as both have family members who live with these conditions.
Everybody successfully completed the abseil from the Turret of Langley Castle, some 90 metres tall.
So far the fundraising total stands just over £1700.
