Since we stopped selling single use carrier bags, we have not had “Carrier Bag Money” to donate to local groups.
The Board have decided to introduce a quarterly grant to help local clubs and charities.
Each quarter the Board will award £250 to a local group that has been nominated by the community.
Nominating your club or group for the Allendale Co-operative Community Grant is simple.
Send a letter/e-mail to the Board explaining what your group does with a photo that we can share on Social Media.
The next Grant will be awarded at the June Board Meeting which will be held on Monday 15th June 2020.
Each year one group will be nominated for a Co-operative Retail Trading Group Award, this can be up to £2000.
